• Dismantling Corporate Capture Systemic societal progress requires the complete separation of public service from corporate profit and private enrichment. Markey’s allegations that Moulton enriched himself through private equity deals and invested in defense companies operating under his own House committee's jurisdiction underscore the corrupting influence of the industrial status quo. To the Reformer, a leader must remain entirely untainted by the defense industry and fossil fuel interests to champion genuine legislative accountability and serve the public interest.
