• The President led a formal ceremony to honor military veterans. President Donald Trump participated in a Veterans Day ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, where he laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. In his remarks, he stated that the nation honors those who have "worn the uniform and defended our freedom" and deserve respect and gratitude.
• Officials paid tribute to fallen service members and their sacrifices. In his speech, the President paid tribute to the more than one million service members who made the "supreme sacrifice." Vice President JD Vance, who is a Marine veteran, also spoke and reportedly encouraged attendees to thank a veteran for their service.
• The administration highlighted improvements in veterans' services. Veterans Affairs Secretary Doug Collins, who was also present, claimed that positive changes have been made at the VA under the current administration. He specifically asserted that the department has reduced backlogs and improved access to care for veterans.
