Left Perspective
• Virginia has experienced significant positive change under recent leadership. Attorney General Jason Miyares asserted that the state has undergone a "remarkable four-year turnaround." As evidence, he pointed to a record-high labor force participation rate and a decrease in the murder rate from a 20-year high.
• The Democratic candidate is accused of being weak on public safety and economic issues. Gubernatorial candidate Winsome Earle-Sears claimed her opponent, Abigail Spanberger, is "soft on crime." Separately, President Trump criticized Spanberger, alleging she supports "High Crime, and the most expensive Energy prices."
• The party is presenting a unified front with support from key figures. Earle-Sears and Attorney General Miyares appeared together at a final campaign event. President Trump has also urged Virginians to vote Republican and previously participated in a virtual rally with Governor Glenn Youngkin to support the entire party ticket.
